Fashion and Cultural Identity

Culture has always been embedded in fashion, and so much of our identities are stitched into the clothes we wear. W.Collective asked five students—Mahilet, Gaya, Neshaat, Sylvia, and Nanxi—to share their cultural garments and how they feel connected to their roots in Ethiopia, India, Pakistan, Romania, and China through fashion.
